Open Question: Is The Weather Channel hypocritical for "speaking out" against weather disaster tourism?

They are "taking a stand" against tourists who go see damage from weather disasters like Joplin Missouri or Hurricane Katrina but yet all they show on the Weather Channel are shows about weather disasters.
